The Raven Age

This week I was lucky enough to see The Raven Age live in Manchester on the Monarchy Tour! The Raven Age fast became one of my favourite bands after seeing them open for Iron Maiden earlier this year.

George Harris, guitarist for the Raven Age is the son of Steve Harris, founder & bassist for Iron Maiden.

The Raven Age can absolutely hold their own, and their success is not down to their Iron Maiden connection, more so because they know how to make good songs and are absolutely incredible live.

I've been binging them ever since they opened for Maiden and I was familiar with 90% of their set. There were a couple of songs in there that I'd never heard before but they were just as awesome as the songs I knew.

Every single song I wanted them to play, they played. They opened with Forgive & Forget, my absolute favourite! I was stood pretty close to the stage at the side and was able to get an incredible view of the band and take some good photos!
